Johnnyreb, you got that right. I worked in one company where there was a foundry, and those guys breathed in all kinds of evil stuff from the castings. And on the other side of the foundry, there were people who were buffers, working 8-10 hrs a day on chrome parts, up close and personal. They were always checked for heavy metals in their blood twice a year. You can even get contaminants in bad fills of air, never mind mixed gases, like Nitrox. You're absolutely right, nothing is worth risking your lungs for, ya' gotta be safe...
