yeah don't do it at all. if you are going to lift a car lift it properly. body lifts are for compensation not for performance. :((

times a million. body lifts are for compensation not performance. if you wana clear bigger tires and dont wana spend money on a lift even though you are dumping tons of money on tires, cut your fenders. your car is old anyways

Like above, you should save the money for a good suspension lift. Some things you'll run into is modifying the hole your shifters are at due to shifter for your transfer case not fully going back far enough to engage into four low, both shifters will be shortened by three inches, and if you have an auto you may have to lengthen your shift linkage, and body lifts have the habit of failing in the most inappropriate times. Just my .02 worth. $-)

if it wasnt for my body lift when i got bottomed out on my chassis, my cab woulda been soaked in waterand woulda had to rip out my carpet.

body lifts are a good way to gain that extra clearance to fit bigger tires and its cheap too. remember when you can fit bigger tires it means the tires will be lifting your axles off the ground so you wont bottom out on your axles as easy.

I have both and never regretted it for a second
