Now i guess i might have a bias opinion couse i own a jeep. but i do have to admit i am still currently finnishing the project, that said i'm not realy changing it just upgrading. same engine just rebuilt, new trans , bigger axles e.c.t. NOW! for those of you who have never owned an older jeep like mine hears alittle F.Y.I. the only thing in it that isn't already built by someone else is the motor, and for the kind of trail i'm building mine for, i wouldn't take any other motor, my 360 amc makes all of it's torqe under 2,500 rpm and for the rocks you can't beat that. As for the rest it has a ford ignition, ford a.c, and ford carb, gm th 400, and dana axles. exactly what most of us have in our chevy's and fords. so wheres the big dif? My personal opinion is the worst truck there is can be bad ass in the right hands, and the most bad ass rig isn't nothn without somone that knows how to operate it. Oh yeah and by the way, i have pulled out plenty of fords both trucks and yes even a couple bronco's, But i do love mine, it's proly the most reliable vehicle i've ever owned!
