hey guys i need some advice.

i have a 05 lifted rubicon but just a stock bronco. so i no how lifts work and this isnt my first.

but i have never had a lifted bronco. Now Broncos are big to start with but my friend has a free set of 37inch tires with wheels they are radial TSL super swampers. And he said he would give them to me. $-)

with that i have two questions.

My bronco is my main daily driver, do you think that would to big for city and daily use?

and if i do decide to go for it what would be the best just a straight 8 inch susp. lift or maybe half suspension half body?

i plan on buying a skyjacker class two if so

Thanks

Adams

If you dont mind the difference in ride or drop in fuel mileage, then go for it. But then again, nobody really bought a bronco for its great gas mileage anyway :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Me personally, i think that parts would wear out faster for everyday use, replacing them more often. As far as lift, i'd go suspension, there's nothing wrong with body lifts, people use them all the time, i just like to keep the body close to frame. But when it comes down to it, its your ride and its whatever makes you happy ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

hey adams

my old bronco was a 95 with 6" suspension and 3" body lift and 37" SSR's

after i did the lift i daily drove it for about 5 months. it was great being in such a tall truck as a daily driver, but my gas mileage went down to about 4 mpg and without regearing the diffs it ultimately ended up cooking my tranny

so if you are wanting to go that big on the tires i would highly reccomend regearing the diffs to save your tranny down the road

I'd get a 6" suspension lift and call it a day. If your truck's a daily driver, that's all you need. I've had a few lifted ttb fords and a 6" is the happy medium for a daily driver. My 93 had an 8" skyjacker suspension with a 3" body lift on 38.5's and it was way too much to drive on the road every day. My 95 bronco has a 4" skyjacker suspension with 33's and you may not get as many looks, but your wallet and your back will thank you down the road. Good Luck.
