Just bought my first Bronco...well actually my first Ford. It's a 1991 Eddie Bauer(sp)...so yes, it has the christmas trees on the seats. I'll post pics in a little bit. I've worked on them for years, so I figured I would finally get one.

Maybe hes out stuck somewhere cause he has thornbirds
Could be! Maybe we can buy him some BFGs Like the A/Ts we had on my wifes Jeep, they came apart in about 8 months, What does it mean when the MFG of a tire tells you you're brand new tires are "SKIPPING"? Les Schwab could'nt seem to explain it any better than the Goodrich rep we spoke to.

I dunno, the only time I have experienced tire skipping is sliding sideways

Ummmmm Yeah, the last time I got my bronc sideways was on some ice just inside the security gate at work, Was actually pretty cool till my pass side caught dry pavement. After all 4 were back down and I checked for a pulse I realized my favorite fishing pole got broke when my offroad box smashed against it. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The sideways sliding was not in my Bronco, was a '79 5.0 Mustang. I had so much fun in that car. And to top it all off it was pink. I put a roller 5.0 out of a '90 mustang with the T-5 and the 3.55 8.8, That thing was a blast.

The ice thing wasnt on purpose however, From the security cameras it looked impressive. The 5.0 sounds like a kick in the ^$$. My only pony was my older brothers '70 with the 302 and an auto, Had a set of Lakewood traction bars but we kept tearing them up. By they way have you seen Thornbirdguy in any of the other threads????

Hi guys! I am new here too...loooking to talk to anyone who has done a solid axle swap on a 90 (ish) Bronco. I've been pondering doing it but none of the shops here in town support the change which got me to wondering if there is a huge reason why. Everyone I called damn near hung up on me when I told them what I was interested in.....is there something I don't know?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
