Hi all. question 3. vehicle info in my signature.

I know that this is the ignition coil. (pic below) My question is, is this a special coil or is it a special one? It has an electrical plug going to it with 2 wires.

Also my distributor has no vacume hoses or ports, only an electrical plug. Does this mean that the advance is electrical advance and not vacuum advance?

Where is the coil picture, all I see is the distributor. Got a picture of the ignition module? Anything is possible, your engine has had some pretty big changes to it. Are you using a digial camera for pictures? they look pretty fuzzy. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Hi seabronc. The white arrow is pointing to the coil. I admit there are some wires in the way but the pic is pretty clear on my end.

Sorry, must have been getting sleepy. Now the server won't let me get the picture for some reason. Looks like they may be having some problems, I'm getting a lot of server busy responses. I'll look again tonight, it is probably a stock EEC system.
