alright yall where to start im 16 and my dad gave me his old 89 and its a bucket but im lookin for a dual exaust, cold air intake, bumpers, rims and tires, and a small lift like maybe 3 inchs, nerf bars, small winch and i am on a high school budget soo the cheaper the better

for the bumper i found this warn

http://www.warn.com/truck/mounting-systems...ty_bumper.shtml

but i dont wanna spend more for the bumper then i did for the truck im lookin for something more around the range of 700

and for the rims and tires i want something like 35, 12/50s and id like to keeps those around 600 to 800$ and i dont need anything too crazy cuz its gonna be a weekend mudder and used for farm work soo i need something thatll be good for daily drivin to i was thinkin mickey thompsons baja claw radials or super swamper IROKs and the rims dont matter much to me

and im still considering the lift dependin on the prices if i can find one around the 500 to 700 range then id get it

and its got the typical bronco rust spots right around the back wheel arches and the bottom corner of the quater panels, for the arches i was thinkin about grindin out the rust and instead of patchin it jsut put on some flares would that work? and if yall know were to find some cheap body patches for the corners that would be great cuz i aint had much luck

and my ignition is messed up soo i have to push the rod down with pliers instead of turnin the key and then use a jerry riged button to turn it on would i have to get a full new stearin colum to fix that or can i get by with jsut the ignition

and if there are any other parts yall would recomend then that would kick ass

so any help yall could give me would be much apreicated

Okay rims and tires are gonna go past $800 if new 31x10.50r15 BFG All-Terrains run about $140 a tire and the total of my American racing rims was $500 without mounting, balancing r other services (I'm a mechanic by trade) . I would go with a K&N drop in air filter for now until you can spend more or decide to keep the Bronco for a while. Flowmaster exhaust would be a good choice. Fender flares just cover up the problem and soon the rust will be over those, order replacement quarters. LMC truck has good replacement panels for a good price.

1. Ignition; Great aftermarket plug wires, MSD coil, Autolites gapped out to .055, 100% shape cap and rotor, bump timing to 13.5 (vast improvement in mileage and throttle response).

2. Exhaust; Custom built 2 1/4" head pipes into Flow master Y-pipe, exiting at 3" into 3" cat. From there you can put any exhaust you want on. The improvement comes "cat forward" not cat-back as manufacturers would have you believe ( biggest acceleration improvement I've ever got from a mod and a solid 2-3 mpg improvement).

3. Chasis; stock sized tires to max inflation, brakes checked for drag, synthetic wheel bearing grease, axle fluid and transfer case ATF too.

That's the jist of it. Sure there's a K&N filter but that never added anything truly measurable, though it probably helped other mod's. I also added shorty headers but they too only helped acceleration, not mileage.

You cannot believe how much power and mileage are robbed by the stock Y-pipe and cats. The ignition you can do this weekend and will likely pay back in a month with gas priced where it is. Storing your 35's and going back to stock sized tires will give you back 2-4 mpg tomorrow too.

That's it in a nutshell. Get the coil, re-gap the plugs, bump the timing and go for a better exhaust, it will pay off.

ive answered with this so many times i now keep it on my desktop have done it on f series and broncos with great results is from sixlitre over at FSB
