How do you remove the interior screws on a 1993 eddie bauer bronco

I bought a 1993 eddie bauer bronco and was wanting to remove the top from it. I have already read up on how to remove it. In everything I have read it says the first step is to remove the interior trim screws. How do you remove those screws with out breaking them? is there a special tool? is it even possable?
