Hello all,

I have a '94 Bronco 5.8L and it is running fine, but it is idling at 1800-2000rpm. I was told it could be the TPS sensor . . . replaced it and still have the problem  .

Any suggestions?

Thanks! diver

could be your IAC. Take off your throttle body, give it a good cleaning with BG, and make sure the valves are functioning. While you're at it clean your IAC out with the same stuff.

Bradt - Sorry for the ignorance . . . I don't know what IAC and BG are.

Thanks for the help!

BG Air Intake System Cleaaner. It's basically a carb cleaner that won't damage the coating Ford likes to put on the throttle body. It's probably in parts stores, but I know the dealership carries it if not.

IAC = Idle Air Control. It's that cylinder looking thing on top of the throttle body.
