Hey everyone. New to the forum but super excited that I found it. My wife just bought me a '70 sport about a month ago for birthday/Christmas present (she's a keeper). Doing the Borgeson power steering upgrade which requires replacing the stock pulleys. As I was putting in the new PS gearbox I discovered that there are a few holes in the radiator so I drained the coolant and pulled the radiator. While I have the radiator out..... may as well replace the water pump and thermostat..... right?
So, stock 302 and I'm going with standard-flow water pump because I've read some posts suggesting not to use high-flow if you don't need to. What effect would installing a high-flow vs standard-flow thermostat have?
Thanks for the help/input and I'll update my profile later today with my rig info.
