Hi all. I'm from southeast PA. I have a '92 Bronco XLT Nite with stock suspension and 33X12.5 BFG ATs on stock rims. I've been a member of the BigBroncos mail list for a long time and thougt it was time to check it out here.

I'll try to take some pics this weekend and post them. It ain't pretty. It doesn't have a straight panel on it from getting on trails way too tight and the rust is taking it's toll, but I do have a new tailgate that I may get painted this weekend and I plan on doing the quarters in spring.

Yo nite, we like to see dents from trails, I would think of them as trophies!! To me it's like this: I live north of Dallas, I see Hummers and such all the time: I have yet to EVER seen one with a speck of dirt on it! NOT ONCE!! Not that I have anything against show vehicles - I hope to someday be able to put mine on display somewhere - but in the meantime I have been working step-by-step to get it running as best as it can so I can do trails, and then I'll start with bodywork.

Anyhow, check out pics of mine in the gallery, I could give anybody a run for their money in the ain't-too-pretty-Bronco contest.

Later,

Brian

May I suggest that you look at the new T'gate's inner, lower surface and check for any low spots in the undercoat or paint? Some add POR 15, etc. esp. around the drip slots to prevent future rust.

Also, on the quarters a few owners are using the "new" urethane adhesives to bond the new 1/4's on instead of the old way:

sixlitre did his and here is his diy job:

one adhesive:
