Hey guys. I've been around here a while off and on and I appreciate all the info you guys have given me when I have had issues with the truck. I've had the truck about 5 years. I never got around to posting a pic so here we go. This is after my recent do it yourself paint job. I am gonna post before and after pics later with a description of the 3 day process. This is a 95 Bronco xlt. Windsor 351. This is stock lift with 33's. Plan to go to at least a 4" lift but I'm still debating different options. No real mods yet other than the tire upgrade from stock 31's. Whatcha think?

NICE!!! ya wanna do my '88 BII like that too? I'll furnish paint, do all the sanding with jitterbug, prepping, and all supplies including beer/whiskey/tequila. Plus a few $s for labor. Is that the new type paint job,, kinda dull finish. Oh,,I don't do body repairs,, got a few dents and dings,, nothing major tho. Larry in Arlington,Texas.

All the prep work is the time factor. Spraying is the fun part. It is the NASON system "GM Olive Drab". It is pretty easy to do yourself, just time. It is a dull finish now, but this is just the undercoat. To make it durable, you go with a top coat. I just haven't gotten there yet. The top coat is a 2 part deal that you add a matting agent to if you want it semi mat.

That's pretty sweet. Our AF K-9 vehicles in Guam (1991-92) looked almost exactly like that.

yo Lester,

Guam!

My dad was 22nd Marines and helped take Guam back; he made a few landings; made it through them without a scratch, but was shot in the arm near the airfield/Marine Barracks on Guam. In the History Channel's Pacific, Lost Evidence TV program, they had a part about how the Japanese was able to sneak through the lines and get to the tents on the beach where the injured were; dad mentioned this once, but only after one of his friends asked him about the battle. An officer gaave dad his .45 to help ward off the attackers and dad shot from his cot.
