i have a problem with my 85 bronco. i was at the trails when the power went out. i changed the baterry and got nothing. so i changed the alternator and voltage regualtor and still i got nothing. i looked at the wiring job that the previous owner had and i was shocked. wires are all over the place. i was wondering how the wires should be run. i have the S and F wires from the voltage regulator hooked up. the S is the positive side of the alternator and f is hooked to the ground which is somehow hooked to the starter selinoid and some wire cluster which leads to the headlights. any diagrams to help me out would be great. thanks.

It is a little different depending on wether or not you have a charge indicator or meter. I'm including both as attachments. Do you have any power without the key on like lights? Do you have charge meter?

Fusable links are what I suspect.

Good luck,

:)>-
