Hello all,
Im a new guy that just purchased an 88 bronco with a 302.
seemed to run ok, but it is bogging down when it shifts (auto) into 2nd 3rd and od.
If I am accelerating, everything seems ok, but if I slow down and speed back up, it chugs along but not very well.
I checked the codes and one was the egr valve. I replaced it and things don't seem to be much better if at all.
and Im a shade tree at best, and on a budget.
If it helps with diagnosing the problem, at a stop light, its at 1000 rpm or so, but drops to about 700 and then goes back up.
Thanks for any consideration.
Rick
