keep the truck, swap the 6 with an 8, beaten on trucks are the best because you ain't got to worry about messin' up the paint(unless you're too loaded to care) :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

everyone loves the bragging rights of a V8 but in all honesty the I6 has more power. Don't bother swapping it out unless there is something wrong with it. The 300 is a torque monster.

i love the torque!, as far as i can tell there is nothing wrong with the engine. i am trying to post a picture, but not sure how!? (help please, i am computer illeterate)

i am definatley NOT loaded, i got the truck because it was cheap. i am cheap. i want to fix it as inexpensive as possible.

i have bought a new ford ttd (or tdd) axle for the front 4wd pass. side, the slip shaft assembly is stripped with the original axle that was in the truck. the guy i bought it from said that happened going down the highway at 90 in 4wd...

any one have a slip shaft assembly for cheap? cant seem to find one in my area, the closest junkyard that has one is more than an hours drive.

Welcome to the Zone. For parts for your rig, try lookinginto the the parts for sale and wanted forum. That is where I found my part I needed. Everyone is very helpful here, just ask away. For information on how to get something to work, post it in the Technical support forum to get your quickest answers. I had a heck of a time loading pictures too, my software would size the pictures down small enough to post, had to email them to by brother to have him resize them for me.
