My name is John. I am from Central Arkansas. I have a 1983 XLT Bronco. When I bought it 2.5 years ago it had a 302 H.O. out of a mustang, C6, NP208, TTB, 8.8 3.07 gears 32" tires and 6" of lift. Drove it 6 months and the transmission started to slip and the motor was missing on three cylinders. Replaced alot of stuff on the motor and never figured out what it was. Anyways, I swaped in a Rebuilt 351w with Edelbrock Performer Cam, Lifters, Intake, and Carb. Timing gears and a Electric fuel pump, Shorty Headers. Swaped in a nonslipping C6, Sold the NP208 and swaped in a NP205 that I rebuilt. I rebuilt the 8.8 trac-loc and 3.55 gears. About to finish up rebuilding my Solid D44 welded and 3.55. The rear was lifted with 5.5" of blocks. Not safety first. Pulled those, Shackle Flipped and made some Zero Rates with 1.5" offset to recenter the axle. Sitting on about 7" of lift right now. Enough rambling. Here are some pics.

Few before it broke shots.

And last my Solid Dana 44. Heres a pic from where I found it. I know it is Drum brakes but that has been changed. Not going with the drum brakes.

Since the last pic I have put in new ball joints, U-Joints, slid the axles in, reamed the knuckles for 1 Ton chevy TRE and DOM steering. Which is 1.5" DOM with 3/8" sidewall. Little over **** but it was a good price. Bolted on the knuckles, caliper brackets, and spindles. Just need new inner and outter wheel bearings and Hub seal and it will be completely redone. Bought new Hubs and rotors.

Enought boring you with the rambling and the pics. I am just excited that I am about to have my Bronco on the Trails. Looking forward to talking and meeting some of you.
