heat and ac parts

i have the passenger side vent and the opening where fan goes dosent seem to be altered.there are 3 screwholes around it. im wondering if nothing goes there. i have a switch for blower speed and other says hwy or city.which makes me believe there was perhaps a mode door

Well from what I saw in your picture. The motor and piece that goes across. Looks like someone made it. The screws even stand out. It looks nothing like any original ford installed equiptment,but as you stated before. It was dealer installed. It doesn,nt look like a FORD PROUCT..maybe a private company deal

I,ve never seen one with a switch the says HWY OR CITY. If your not gonna look for original ford ac set up. You could make the parts and duct work.

Yes the vent look like theyr are, Its the part(s) holding the motor and piece leading to them. That looks home made . Even the screws look new and shiney. Does it have a glove box in it or does the motor take that room up? The pick up trucks have the same parts as broncos.

guess thats what ill do. it does have fan, ducts for dash and evaporator. so technically it should work as is. dont know what hwy or city is about either

Maybe if you took a picture of it and posted it. Someone might remeber it. Myself I haven,t seen or heard of it. Maybe it was a city truck and was converted some.

I,d also make a cover to put over the fan, To keep mice from building a nest in it and cause you more problems.
