Soo i have a 1987 ford bronco with a 3.0. I went to install long tube headers and the driver side ended up smashing my oil level sensor. I ordered it just for my truck. It should have not hit it but it did. Any advice on what to replace it with and do I really need the o2 sensor for the fuel injection?

I just hate the aftermarket, they sell a product and say it fits but you put it on and its not right. You could try a aftermarket oil pressure sending unit or put a 90° elbow on that port to re-angle the sending unit.

Could even take the header off and clearance that spot with no ill effects to HP.

For your EFI you must keep the O2 in the exhaust for the engine to run properly. The best spot is 12"-18" from the collector.
