Well when I got my 86 back from a buddy of mine after 9 years the top was gone. It had been removed for a joy ride and then run over in the process. So it sat in the barn for the next 5 years. I am now getting it back on the road and for the last month I had no top. Driving around a parade that blocked down town I saw an 82 with everything missing but the top and stopped in to chat. Nice living in NC, you can do that here without attracting a barrel. $100 later I drove off with my new white on white top.

Moral of the story, just keep looking and you will find one. Since you already have one you have all the time in the world as I only had until winter...Denny
