Just bought this original 69 w/ a 302 and three on the tree. 78,000 original miles, was parked (outside) in 1979 and hasn't been run since. I'm going to do a major restoration on it and I'm in the process of ordering a bunch of parts from Bronco Graveyard. HERE'S THE QUESTION: Both from doors on the thing are hard to open. The push buttons go all the way in and don't seem to want to release the catch. After a bit of fiddling they will eventually open. Any suggestions?

Mobetta, were you able to fix your door latch problem? If so, care to lend some tips? My driver's side just started doing the same thing,...I greased the linkages, and that worked until I closed up the door panel...man, she's a fickle old gal. I really don't want to tear the whole mechanism apart.

If its an original 77 that means no one has screwed it up too bad and good for you. I wish I could say the same about mine. If your going to do a real restoration, your going to go thought the doors anyway. Now that you have them open, take them apart and clean them up. You were going to do it anyway. The insides are cheap and the reason they don
