Will a 2x4 steering column work for a 4x4 bronco if you replace/remove the steering coupler/rag joint. I have a 79 bronco and I have been searching for one at a low price and its been pretty hard to find one and it would make it easier if I could adapt a 2x4 steering column to my 4x4. Thanks.

i dont know if there is a difference? just measure your parts and dont forget the ''travel'' in the shaft. might be a good time to replace the little u joint also . if you cant do it, i have a tilt column from a 79 bronco i'll let go of. good luck.

How much do you want for that tilt steering column out of your 79 bronco?
