I'm up in CDA and picked up this '80 version with a 351M/400 2v for under a grand yesterday - this is my first Bronco. I bought it with what the previous owner thought was a stuck rear window but a 12v DC battery hooked up to the red/yellow wires with some alligator clips got it up and closed with a little bit of encouragement. Now I can keep the weather out and get it dried out.
Basically, it's a beater with a heater to get me through the winter and hopefully I'll be able to swap out the tailgate for a newer one next spring along with some new rubber.
