Fiberglass Quaterpanels and Tailgate

I found a company called Autofab in California that makes fiberglass front quaterpanels for $500 a pair, rear quaterpanels for $550 a pair, and a fiberglass tailgate without a motor for $850. Does anyone know of any other companies or anywhere else to get these parts? Or recomend another route to take?

Autofab is the only one I have heard of. They have a very good product.

there is a post(several pages back now) with the autofab pics. If you look around there are some fiberglass prerunner fenders. Ive never seen 80-86 style(which i plan on making still) but there are plenty of 87-96 style out there. ive seen a few broncos that have used truck rear 1/4s (looks a bit funny).

Autofab and K Bar S sell hoods with a dropped center section. U.S. Body Source sells cowl induction hoods. All three suppliers have stock hoods.

Tilt Front Ends 78+ U.S. Body Source

These are one piece front ends that include fenders, hood, and grille, or grill mounting locations.

Front Fenders 78+ U.S. Body Source

Autofab

Autofab sells a variety of custom fenders with larger wheel openings and/or bulges. Some Autofab fenders require custom mounting hardware. Both suppliers have stock fenders.

Doors 78-79 U.S. Body Source

These are complete fiberglass doors that mount to stock hinges.

Door Skins 80+ Autofab

This is the outer panel only of a door. It would require custom mounting hardware.

Rear Quarter Panels 80+ Autofab

These panels are in the 87+ style, and require custom mounting. They have a 3" larger wheel opening, and a 2.5" bulge. They sell matching front fenders for 92+ Broncos, and have similar fenders for 87-91 models.

Tailgate 80+ ? K Bar S

This is a complete, fully functional tailgate. At last check, K Bar S was not actively selling it, but would make one on request. They told me demand was low because they cost as much as a new 'gate from Ford plus shipping.

Tailgate Access Panel 78+ ? K Bar S

This panel replaces the stock steel access panel. It may or may not fit 78-79 models, but should fit 80+. Check with the supplier.

that last link has a great price on fenders. $300 for fronts and $300 for rears if i read it right! too bad the 80-86 is a 96 conversion style. I really like 80-86 grille/fenders better

McNeils is $300 for the front correct and $400 for the quarters I believe. They got some pretty cool stuff. Especially the dashboards are pretty sick. If i knew how to work fiber glass I would for sure do something like they did. But instead I am doing something on my own out of good 'ole steel!
