Hey!

Just bought the 5th Bronco I've owned. It is a project. The paint is done and most of the mechanical is as well. Now I am in final assembly and need the factory location(Placement Template) for the external rear view mirrors. Also any tips/upgrades to mounting factory mirrors would be very cool!

Thanks,

Matt

I have a 73 'Explorer'. I don't know about later years, but mine did not come a passenger side rear view mirror. As far as mounting, factory mirrors require holes. Sorry, can't help with the template.

Is this what you're looking for?

Pretty truck man. Since you have owned five of these you probably realize that the mirrors are horrible. I have them also and at my first opportunity I am gonna take them off. Your truck is already modified so stock isn't really that important. I am not at my truck right now so I can't get measurements. Sorry

I was thinking of going to a "peep" style hot rod mirror that mounts on the top of the door window frame. Since I sit so far up in a Bronco anyway and you can mount the mirror more forward so you don't have to look at it through your armpit, I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea. Some poeple also use west coast style varients and normal truck mirrors that are larger.
