extra peices

i am going to be removing the a/c system, air pump and trying to fix the egr. it is frozen from carbon. will the egr work without the other emissions crap? also can i just block off the port, or would it be better to kep it opporatinal.

does anyone knw what size belt i will need if i have no a/c compressor or air pump?

its just that the way i think is that the more parts you have, the more you have that can break.
