engine swap

i need some help ! i have 2 EB broncos one is a 86 5.0L efi ohv. the body is compleatly shot and i want to put that engine in my 89 EB which was origanly an 5.8l efi hd which has an exelent body and has no engine in it. will the 86 eng match up to the trans? the wire conectors are differant,should i use the wireing harness from the 86? will the computer from the 89 work? and is there anything else i missed? the help and feedback will be very helpfull
