Six litre tune-up, msd coil, cap and rotor

ford 9mm racing wires

Shorty headers, dual exhaust 2.25"

flowmaster series 40

10 degrees timing for now

cleaned intake manifold, removed egr valve and thermactor system along with air pump

Where to now? I smell the engine running rich. On cold nights she roars like a champ. Hot days, a little sluggish.

There is a lull between 1800 - 2500 rpms, then she blasts off

I knew adding headers would add grunt and horsepower, but she will never be fast (6000lbs!)

I want more torque and bottom end.

Is a cam the next step? Is there any steps in between I should try? Was thinking about a KN cold air kit and filter.

I only have one oxygen sensor (obd 1 1995 (built 8/94)), should there be two? I didn't see any connectors when I was under her last.

Any suggestions?

If you have the money lying around go to fordstrokers.com and get yourself an F4TE 351w block and pick up the 427w stroker kit with some trick flor heads to go with it. HAHAHAHAHAH power that is balls to the wall..........

There are many things you can do to your 302, go for the edlebrock intake, bigger throttle bodys and spacers, the cam, cylinder heads. It can be fast, it just depends on your pocket book :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
