ok yall i just moved to houston form my home town of pampa, and while i was there my bronco would pass inspection, but down here im a little worried. im th inkin bout bringin it down here and put a new engine in it and none of my emission crap is hooked up(the way i bought it)and i dought if it even works and i dont know where any of it goes so if yall could help me out here somehow i'd apretiate it

Here is an emissions diagram from an 85. It is the one I use on my engine which is an 85 351W. If you are not sure if anything works, only hook up one function at a time. Each color basically represents a function. For ex. the distributor is in yellow, it hooks to a port on the bottom of the carb. The EGR port on the carb is the one that is located high and on the left as looked at from the front of the vehicle, white line to the VCV and then green from the VCV to the EGR.

Red is the main vacuum from a vacuum tree, one in front one in back just as shown on the diagram. that is a little over simplified but I think you'll get the idea.

that hopefully help some what but my problem is that when i put the new intake and carb on it my buddies dad helped me and we gave it a "hair cut" as he called it, cuz nothin was hooked up corectly so i dont know whatever is powered by the belt cant remember what its called is just there no belt to it and it looks like there was a hose that went from it to somethin hooked to the back of the heads and its beed filled up so yea thanks though
