is there any way at all to manualy get the window down and up if it normaly works on power mine just up and stopped working and i cannot find a power supply back there. Ive checket both wores to my motor and the wires that hook to the motor and cannot get a power reading on either im very confused!

IF the glass is down and you can open the tailgate, check the wiring on the driver's-side where it enters the tailgate. This area is a real problem, as the wires can get picnhed and will short out. You can also remove the taillight cover and look at the wiring as it passes thru there. IF you cannot open the tailgate, check the dash switch for the rear window. Also, search the forums as this topic is very common. Post your results if you get the window working or not!!! JSM84

it is stuck in the up position thats why i was going to try to get it down somehow so i could check more things..

O.K., you need to try to get the motor to work to roll the window down, and that topic has been covered alot. IF you cannot get the glass down say due to a bad motor, you can unbolt the regulator arms from the inside. TIE THEM UP!!!! There is so much tension on those due to the weight of the glass, that you could lose a finger when they release. There may also be critters in there like on mine!!

ok i have power to my window defrost to my back window but no power to the window motor i have two wires one red with yellow strip suppose for the window to go down and the yellow with res strip suppose to make it go up!! shouldnt one of these be a direct current????

Yes, you can use a 12V car battery with two "jumper wires" to get the motor to work. You will see the two wires going into the connector/plug for the motor. Hook those up to the battery by splicing into them, and if the window goes up instead of down just reverse the two jumper wires. Search!!!

wooooohooooooooo...... hooked up jumpers and got it to go down then i opened the tailgate and re-shut it and it works fine those safety latches can be a pain and if it gets stuck up the only thing to do is jump the wires get it down and then go from there...works fine now amazing such a little thing can cause such a pain! thanks for your help just its much appreciated!!!!!
