e4od to 5 speed in F-150

Hey, i just signed up here, cool site!

I have a beautiful 91 F-150 with a 351w and e40d and i hate the tranny. The transmission is reaching the end of its life anyways and recently i came across a 89 bronco with a 302 and a 5 speed. I was wondering if the transmission from the bronco would go in my truck. I have researched this and have not yet found a straight answer. Thank you.

ya ive always kinda wondered the same thing. i hate my e40d. is yours 4wd? if you find a straight answer let me know.

i have a similiar situation. i have a bronco with the e4od and an 95 f150 with the mazda 5 speed. i would like the stick in the bronco and the auto in the work truck. i cant afford to have my only 2 vehicles down at the same time and doubt i can make a swap like that in a weekend.
