Hello all! ive got a 94' eddie bauer ford bronco that ive had for some time now.
upon some thoughts and calculations, i have come to the conclusion that, I WANT ME A DIESEL BRONCO! woot!
as the build goes i will keep everyone postedd. although it will take sometime to find all the parts i need... or to find the perfect donor truck!
i doing the whole sha-bang one it has started! D60 up front with a 50 or higher in the rear, 7.3 Powerstroke turbo diesel, 6spd manual trans(if i can find one), custom driveshafts, computer swap out, dashboard reinstall, 4 or 6inch lift, and i am going to box in the original frame and C channel it.
i dont have any of these parts yet, but i have been eyeing up a 95 4x4 dually diesel F-350. my question is, can i easy just mount a single wheel to the dually axel and use it as such? also, are there any 6spd transmissions for the 7.3 diesel? or will i have to find and custom fit one?
im guessing that my fuel mileage should be in the 20-25 mpg range, but im not entirely sure on that. with the right tuner i could possible achieve that i presume.
if anyone has done this before could you give me some tips or things to watch out for?
any help would be much appreciated thanks!
