chrome moly front axles

now that i got my detroit put in my front end i'm breaking axles a lot more frequently. anyone use chrome moly shafts from yukon in thier frontend? they seem to be the cheapest. i'm sure the mosers are bad ass but 550 is a lil steep for me now. just looking for some opinions

I've only used their bearings and such, give Randy's Ring and Pinion a call, that's where I've gotten my diffs and gears from. They deal with Yukon stuff and should be able to help answer your questions.

I HAVENT USED THEM MYSELF BUT I MET A GUY WITH A 79 F-150 THAT HAD A 550HP 460 ENGINE AND 39.5 INCH BOGGERS THAT HAD THE YUKON AXLES IN IT AND HE SAID THAT HE WAS REAL IMPRESSED WITH THEM AND HED HAD YET TO BREAK THEM. AND WITH THE SHOW HE PUT ON I GATHERED HE RUNS THE TRUCK PRETTY HARD.

thanks beast i'll keep the yukons in mind. i got about 4 or 5 front axles sittin in the garage i been collecting and i'm gonna save up for the chrome molys while i go through my spares
