Hi everyone.

I have a 92 Ford Bronco w/ E4OD transmission and i put in a ford 9" rear end. I know, I'm stupid. The new 9" rear end doesn't have a tone gear, so, it was relocated to the drive shaft. The issue i'm having is the shift points on the truck are incorrect. I

put 4.56 gears in the truck and have 33in tires. What is the best way of fixing this problem?

Thanks for your time.

Do a search on here for speed sensor . I had found a company in the back of a magazine that made a unit that replaced the rear output ****** on the T case and mounted the sensor there . I think it was just over $100 and it completely solved that problem . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

You totally just reminded me...somewhere around '90 or '91 Ford used a transfer case with the VSS in it. Maybe kschmidt can locate one of those and use it for his application

Your right it was in the late 90,s they had that little speed sensor that the speedo cable piggybacked into but somehow I think the pulse count is different than the tone ring in the rear end . Worth a shot though thier around $20 to $30 at the parts store . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
