C-6 Problem

I rebuilt my transmission and thought i did everything right.. shouldnt the output shaft be able to turn? ive tried all gears and it seems stuck. Does anyone have any experience with this?

your saying the tans is sitting on a table and your trying to spin the output shaft by hand?

yes you should be able to spin the shaft by hand (i know i can in my truck and my transmission is perfectly fine)

would his be harder to spin possibly due to the fact it was just rebuilt?

You should be able to turn it on the bench. As lond as the linkage isn't in park. You might have something in a bind.

I figured it out.. i had to take it apart again. What happend was i had a different build c-6 than what the book was showing me and the piston in the very back was upside down binding everything up.
