Bronco soft top

Hey I just came up with this idea of turning a spare hard top into a frame for a soft top... here is my idea...

So what im thinking of is removing the side windows and cutting most of the top off leaving just the main shape in place.

this is a ruff image of what im talking about



and here with the soft top (I would make it)



Let me know what you think or if any one has done something like this.
