I was doing so reading about the cage offroad suspension systems. I noticed that they used an eight pack spring vs. the 10 or 11 spring packs. Does anyone know the advantages of using the eight pack over the traditional?

I was doing so reading about the cage offroad suspension systems. I noticed that they used an eight pack spring vs. the 10 or 11 spring packs. Does anyone know the advantages of using the eight pack over the traditional?

Well logically, it would be easier to bend 8 leaf springs than 10 or 11. So from that you would have a softer ride and alot better articulation. (better for wheeling in other words)

yep , you get more flex with 8 leaf springs which is what wheelin is all about
