Thanks for any help.......bought a 1993 Bronco to replace the 96 Bronco that got totalled a couple weeks ago. The 93 needs a little TLC in the cleaning dept. and a few minor things done to it. ......and here are a couple questions......

There are two knobs missing......one is the headlight **** and the other is the handle / **** for opening the hood. Basically you have to use a vice grips on both to pull them. I've looked on broncograveyard and didn't see either part. I found a headlight **** but it wasn't listed for a 93.

The other thing is just to the left of the radio the dash is cracked a bit......so I was wondering about these.......

Anyone have any experience with these dash covers??

again.....thanks for the help......

I sold the totalled 96 Bronco to a salvage yard......I'm guessing maybe I can go pull the knobs I need off the 96 and they will fit on the 93?

oh.....and also.....the drivers seat....it is missing the pull **** / latch that reclines the seat......any ideas on where to find a replacement for that....??

I also forgot about the button switch on the dash for the rear window.......next to the headlight switch. It is there and it works......but it is pushed back thru the dash. I pulled the dash off and forward enough to see that the two recepticles that accept the screws which hold the switch to the dash are broken off. Is there any way you all can think of to hold that switch back in place without the screws?? I can push the switch right into place where it should be.....but just nowhere to ***** it in and hold it in place.

Thanks!! :)>-

Pull what ya need off the 93; hey will fit.

ok hdlt sw mounting prob;

here is a pic of it by Kuss http://www.kusscave.com/bronco/tech/gauges...e%20Cluster.JPG

Thinking of a way to attach ABS Plastic reinforcement strips to the front or back of the panel...guessing from a fading memory that if strips are attached in front, there will be an alignment problem with the Instrument Panel "Hood' piece.

then glue them to panel with ABS pipe cement.

I know Steve & others will offer better advice here.

thanks man......gonna head to the yard tomorrow to see if I can ****** the headlight & hood pull knobs.

One thing I'm not sure of is finding the latch the fits on the side of the drivers seat so you can either recline or bend the seat forward.......I'm thinking the salvage yard wants to sell the whole seat intact.....I may not be able to just pull off that latch.....plus I think the latch on the 93 seat might be different than what was on the 96......I know the passager latch on the 93 seat is different than the 96. Plus the 93 has cloth seats where the 96 had leather....

maybe I can jerry rig some kind of latch?????? anyone else do that?? or know where I could find that specific part?? been unable to find it on my own.

I do believe that the Hood Latch **** is molded on to the cable. You will probably be better off taking the entire latch cable.

Good luck,

:)>-
