i got a 96 bronco with a 6in. suspension lift and a 3in. body lift. i want to take the body lift off and just have the suspension lift. I bought my bronco with it like this. How difficult would it be to take off? do i just take the body lift spacers out. would i have to buy some stock parts? and also what parts would i need to level my bronco. the rear sits higher do i just by a spacer for the front.

You will need stock length body bolts. Would be a good time to invest in polyurethane body mount bushings

if you have an automatic on column, the three inch spacer on linkage rod would have to come back out.

When you *install* a body lift you generally have to modify the steering shaft, shift, throttle, transmission kickdown & transfer case linkages as well as the fuel filler neck & the fan shroud. If you want to bring the front up you might just cut down the existing body spacers and use what's there. The steering shaft may or may not have a spacer on it, you'll have to look. It's not uncommon for guys to just slip the connector further up the shaft so it may just be a matter of returning it to it's original position.
