im getting a 3 inch body lift and want to know what else to buy with it so when i get it i can install it and everything will work. so what all will be affected by the body lift. such as steering shafts, gas filler hoses, break lines, ebrake lines, and anything else. for the gas tanks do i just have to replace the main tanks hose since it is bolted to the frame and i dont have to do anything to the aux since it is attacthed to the body? if you could give me specifics and maybe links on what all to buy. also with the bumpers to raise them cant i just unbolt them and then just use the top frame mount and put spacers on either side and rebolt the bumper. i know the bottom frame mount will be exposed but could probably be cut off or just used as a light mount. is a plausible and maybe even as easy as it sounds. and the bumper may not be as effective but lets remember were talking about a death trap with or with out a functional bumper. and how hard is it to fix the steering shaft (what is entailed) and same with anything else. and whos kit is the best to buy for the 3" body lift. thanks for all the help

I think you would have better luck doing a spring lift. then all you have to do is extend your brake lines and Ebrake cables and readjust your track bar and possiblly replace the pitman arm. The body mounted are pressed fit together and must be cut off. a real pain in the butt. The springs and shakles are a lot less complicated in the long run and geve you more axle clearance.
