First you need to know how inaccurate it is. You need to time a mile holding an indicated 60 MPH and find out your actual speed. After that, look at the existing speeedo gear to see how many teeth are on it, and then you can determine how many teeth you need to reduce the speedo gear. Out of curiosety what size tires did you put on?

1 tooth will change the indicated speed approximately 7%. So if you speedometer is off by say 15% then you would need to change by 2 teeth to bring it within tollerence. You can get them from Ford dealers, parts shops, internet, or someone here might have the one you need and be willing to sell it.

Another way is to change the gearing in your differential, but that is a little more expensive :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> . You actually should take a look at what the tire change has done in regard to power and economy. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard catalog has a chartthat will help you find out if the tire size change has put your engine in too low of a RPM range thus poor power.

Good luck,

:)>-
