I'm looking to buy a soft top for my 89 bronco. i'd like to get one that goes down and back rather then just a soft replacement. i have about $1000 worth of stereo equipment in the back(2 Audiobahn 12" subs in a completly transparent ported bandpass box-w/ 1200watt Kenwood amp-w/ 54x4 Kenwood head unit and am looking for something that will be relativly secure. something that will take slicing through to get in. the back area is completly packed already between the sub box, 2nd battery box(needs 2 1200 amp batteries and a 170amp alternator to keep running), and the bolted in gun lock box(i'm not a red neck just do some sport shooting).

anyway i'm just looking for some good websites or phone numbers to pick one up for this summer. thanks.

Geeeeese..! /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

You've got more in "thump"-"thump" equipment than I paid for my whole truck...

You'll scare away all the birds, bears, & 4-wheelers for miles around, out on the trail. [-X

Seriously, I would go with a hard-top.. :)>- ....it would keep all the "thump-thump" inside the cab....& keep the theives out. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Unless this is just a "street thumper" ... Jeffs Br. Graveyard has the rag-tops. :D/

broncograveyard.com is your best bet. aside from bolting everything down pretty securely cause a soft top isnt going to stop someone whos determined. if you have an alarm add a motion sensor.

If you're dead set on a rag top, check out http://www.thejeep.com/stc/bronco.html for one. These are the only guys I've seen online that get them brand new from the manufacturers. Also, check eBay occasionally, somtimes you can get them for cheaper.

Also, check out the Big Bronco FAQ on Off-Road.com, where they talk about the Fiberglass top and the companies that make different kinds of replacement tops.

Hope that answers your questions :)>-
