I have this awesome 66 Bronco but can't drive it anymore because I can't find a throttle cable anywhere. So it sits....waiting. I need help!!! It has a 289 V-8, 4-barrel quadrajet carburator and it won't budge.Picture_127.jpg

Welcome to Bronco Zone!!!

If you can't find the part you need at James Duff, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, or LMC Truck, someone here may be able to help you out. Good Luck!!!

I have tried all three. I went to a local garage and he said he could try to make one but you know how that goes, he is about 85 years old and has probably already forgotten. NOW we have a hurricane coming our way and I also drive a 02 cavalier that has been lowered 2 and 1/2 inches. no way that is going to make it around town. I really need my bronco running fast!!

tcdc,

What is the "original" cable from?

the 66 should have had a mechanical linkage, that may be why you're having problems finding a conversion cable, especially to a Chev carb...

Have you looked for "Lokar" products??

ps Welcome to the zone, and nice lookin EB!
