Gentlemen: I have an 73 Bronco with a three on the tree. My son and I are rebuilding the Bronco and would like a automatic instead of stick. What is the cheepest way to go and where do I but it? I have heard that the C4 is the least challenging but the AOD can save bucks. One other thing, the auto shifter must be on the colum not on the floor. Thanks guys

first welcome,

next you would need to find a automatic steering column or strip and rebuild the one you have with automatic stuff. Then for the tranny, I would always go C-6 with a NP 205 but a C-4 with the dana 20 will be easier. either tranny will fit.
