my 93 5.0 bronco started missing while driving the other day, i dont drive it very often so i thought it might be gas, it was low so i topped it off and drove it kinda hard to 'blow it out'... well it started sputtering worse, i was poking around a day or so later and unless i bumped it num 6 wire was loose from the dist cap, with that fixed i fired it up tonite after dark to look for arc, i found it all around the ignition coil, so should i just replace it and see if my miss and sputtering is cured... ???

Usually that is just bad plug wires, coil wire. If you are only seeing the coil wire do it, replace that one for sure, but really you are probably due for a new set.

Kind of wild to watch isn't it.
