I would like to hear some opinions on selectable lockers too, I still want to put one in the frt. but can't decide what one to use. I still seem to favor an Ox locker (k.i.s.s.) To me, can't go wrong with a mech linkage, but up here they're hard to find a supplier.

I run Trac-Lok in both ends of my 78, with 35" General Grabber MT's. It is a daily driver. They have good manners on the road and make a big difference off road. Be careful if you want to put a Detroit Locker in, and tow a trailer with it. My brother has broken his in a 95 F-350, due to towing.

my local offroad store guys say that the ox sucks but they dont seem to have a reason why, it might be that he doesnt know how to install one or doesnt sell them and wants me to buy somethin that they carry and know how to install?? i dunno the ox sounds really cool to me. ive heard nothing about any electric lockers though.

Have run ARB in front &rear, work good but compressor noise will drive you nuts after a while.

Dynatrac has stated in an article that I have, that the D44 is challanged when matchecd up to large diameter tires and high torque. The article is a few years old but at the time they recommended upgrading to the D60 due to the stronger axles. Now days they will build you a real custom off road set of axles, for a price :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> , but maybe it would be worth it in the long run for a real serious offroader.

Good luck,

:)>-
