alternator upgrade

i was wanting to upgrade to a 200 amp 1 wire alternator in my bronco and was looking at g3 upgrade. it's supposed to bolt in. my question is does it have a built in voltaged regulator? if it does do i need to take the original regulator out? i already know ill need to upgrade alt wires to at least 2 gauge. any help would be appreciated. thanks, justin
