I've had problems with the driver's power window motor on my Bronc and it finally gave up the ghost. I've searched through this forum and found mostly rear power window problem threads and passenger power window threads but, very few about the driver's side window.

Anyway, I got to the motor leads and put my ohmmeter on it and the windings show 0.0 ohms so, I've got a burned set of motor windings, I'll be investing in a replacement motor before long.

I read the threads about replacing the passenger power window motor and would like to know, is the procedure the same for the driver's side motor? If that's the case, it will be relatively easy for me and my gorilla hands to get that one changed so my window works again.

Thanks for your help! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I had my passenger motor out when it was seized up to **** it. Drivers is the same. I suggest removing the speaker to get easier access to the motor. I ended up with little cuts and scraps up and down my arms from wedging them in there. Wish my boy was home at the time to get his little skinny arms in there.

It's pretty straight forward. You might also have to drill holes in the inner door panel to get at the mounting bolts.
