The window is extremely slow...takes a good 20 seconds for it to go up....how can I fix this problem?

From what I've heard, the fuse may be shorting out or a wire may be loose. My dad has a Chrysler Sebring and it takes about the same amount of time to roll up. This could be that your windows may be pressed inward resulting in a slower roll down time due to the glass having to squeeze in. Did this just start happening?

Its not the fuse the fuse is a safety measure if theres a short the fuse will blow before the wires start to glow and catch on fire . Could be the motor is weak or the pivot on the arm is rusted very bad causing the tightness and bind . My back window arm did that . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'll add one more possibility. I have had vehicles that do this and usually the problem was in the wires. The point at which they flex when you open and shut the door, causes them to eventually start to brake one strand at a time. After you are down to just a few strands there isn't enough connection to handle the current required by the motor. The effect is that the motor doesn't get enough current to operate at full speed. However, the previous mentioned items should be checked also.

Good luck,

:)>-
