so, i purchased a 90 bronco about 2 weeks ago, and was had the first wrenchin' party on it saturday. among the list of issues we had, here is the most problematic.
after we hung the gas tank and installed the battery i asked for the keys (which i had not recieved from the seller) so that i could make sure the engine would turn over (she is insured, plated, and i just put new wheels and tires and i still dont know if the ***** will fire). come to find out the seller lost the keys...so i pick up a new ignition cylinder. well, long story short, im having issues getting the old switch out. any tips on how to do this? we were throwing around the idea to just install switches, but was reminded that with the old cylinder in, the steering wheel would not unlock.
so, how do you removed the ignition cylinder if you dont have a key?
