My bronco has the 4WD sticker down the side and I want to remove it. Can I just peel it all off? it goes from the front to the back, so I dont want to mess up the paint any. Any tips are appreciated.

The best way to remove something like that without damaging the paint is to use a heat gun. A hair dryer just doesn't get hot enough to soften the adhesive very much but you can always try. Heat an edge & gently peel it back while heating just ahead of where you're working. Go slowly & it'll come off easily, you'll get the hang of it pretty quick. Once it's off you can use some laquer thinner (you can get it in the auto dept at wal-mart or most auto parts stores) on a rag to remove the adhesive left on the paint. If you leave the residue on it'll pick up dirt & dust and you'll wind up with a dirt sticker replacing the one you just removed.

The best way is oven cleaner it will not hurt the pain and gets rid of those lines that build up after all the years of it being on there.

i do it on tractor trailers all the time. But it has to sit for like 20 mins. then it peals off. i would bring a heatgun just in case.

I peeled off a wide pin strip on my f150 using my oxy/ace torches. not recommended but it did work. the paint was fine after. if you can get a heat gun, thats the way to go. Stickershock does not work thats for sure. Also i found plastic razors at Ace Hardware. they were usefull. I think vehicles look better without pinstrips and decals
